Following the completion of her academic studies Selina was selected by China Southern Airlines , based in Guangzhou, to become a powerplant engineer, a role which would furnish her with active, operational experience of a world leading, major airline. Selina’s primary role was to manage the day to day operational activity of the  fleet propulsion assets, additionally providing technical support in engine selection programs, most notably in the selection of the A380 engine choice. Within a few years Selina was sought out by Rolls-Royce civil aerospace to become field service representative for the company. This position allowed her to develop further and provide on site technical assistance to Tianjin Airlines, a varied role which included varied troubleshooting activities, fleet trend monitoring and delivering training/presentations on company procedures and prevalent information.

In  order to develop further Selina elected to study to become a licensed engineer, a long and complicated journey that has allowed a development from being labelled as an ‘engine specialist’ to a legitimate all round aircraft engineer. Though arduous, the collection of experiences required to become a UK CAA EASA B1 license holder have allowed Selina to become a confident and well rounded engineer. Now an experienced and confident technical liaison engineer in a base and EOL environment, Selina is ready to assist with your project requirements.
